I needed to get away from him. I'm not sure how to take the news. I'm not sure how to feel. Can I feel? Everything is a blur. My mind is foggy and I am so confused. How would I not be able to know if I was dead? I started to back out of the room.
"Tesla, where are you going?" He grew confused.
I didn't say anything as I turned and walked out of the room. I slipped out of the back door and began walking down the road. I don't know where I'm going, I just have to get away. I didn't bother moving out of the way for people because they can't see me anyway. At least, that's what I thought until I bumped into another girl and we both went tumbling down. I was shocked and based on the look on her face, so was she.
"You can see me?" I asked her.
"I was about to ask the same," she says.
"You're the only one who can except for my husband. Well I guess my ex-husband," I tell her.
"You know the truth?" she asks.
"That I'm dead? I just found out. I had no idea and I don't know how that's possible," I tell her.
"I'm in the same boat. I'm Ava," she says.
"Tesla," I respond.
We continue walking around town getting to know each other. I guess it is nice to meet someone like you. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. I'm sad that she has died, but I'm happy that I've met her. As we walked by the diner that I had first seen Lana, she freezes at the sight of a black car. I instantly recognize the vehicle and freeze along side of her.
