This scripture is a daily reminderfor me. Everyday I seek the Truth because I know that the Truth is the only thing that will not fool me. I see people blindsided by their desires, not realizing that some desires are specifically here to harm them. When we know the Truth, we are able to see everything for what it truly is and not for what we want it to be. Sometimes we lie to ourselves because we hate to face the Truth, because we know that the Truth usually hurts or takes something away from us. Truth comes with sacrifice but we do not give enough credit to the fact that the Truth takes away what we do not need and brings us what we do need. I would rather lose something harmful than to neglect and reject something that can change my life for the better.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
