You buy the best tickets you can find, at the expense of your savings account
And then you wait and wait impatiently for the day to come
You arrive at the venue early to buy lots of "swag" (stuff we all get)
When the opening band is taking too long and all you care about is your band

The band comes out and you realize they are real and dreams do come true
And you release your inner freak
When the band says, "We have a new song we are going to play"
But before you know it, the show is over and you are basically dragged out because you aren't ready to leave
But also still feeling hyped and you jam to your favorite songs on the way home
And then sets in the post concert depression:
especially when you hear one of their songs on the radio and the memory rushes back
So you're stuck like this until the next time they come back
