Seeing Your Home Friends As Told By "The Office"

It's Thanksgiving break. You bid farewell to your college friends, take your plane/train/bus/car back home, hang with your family and finally get reunited with your friends from high school. Three months apart seems more like three years-- so much to share whether schoolwork, boys, gossip and more. Here's what it's like being reunited with your #squad as told by "The Office."

When you first see them.

When you're about to catch up with each other and you want to sound extremely #sophisticated and ~intellectual~.

But, being the friends that they are, they catch you right away and you start to fill each other in on everything boys, school and life in general. You're really intrigued.

After the much-needed gossip sesh, you're all back in action and ready to get wild.

The next morning, you're all tired/hungover, just like old times.

But then like five hours later you're all back to your usual shenanigans.

Repeat this schedule two to three more times. Then, after a much-needed break spending time with your family and BFFs, it's back off to school you go.

But then you realize you'll see your BFFs again in like three weeks for Christmas break but you're still really depressed, so you're all like.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
