We all love this time of the year. Full of joy, holiday spirit, and tons of spending. Yes, the holidays have become synonym with over spending. With all your friends and everyone expecting to get some sort of present we came up with this great idea that if everyone draws a name and the person you pull is the only one you buy one nice present for, then we won’t all go broke! Now while this is a great idea, sometimes you get stuck not being able to get the person you have something really nice because of the cost limit, or you basically have no idea what you should buy. We all get stuck in this situation at one point or another but there are a few ways to avoid getting someone something they don’t like. So here are 5 creative ideas to do on your $20 or less secret santa budget.

1. Some sort of item that holds liquids filled with your choice of candy.

2. A clear phone case with a picture of the two of you taped on the back. (If you don’t have a picture together tape a picture of their pet.)

3. A picture frame decorated and filled with a collage of all their favorite things in life.

4. A wine glass the size of your torso painted with cute designs.

5. A mason jar filled with mini nail polishes.

It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
