It's the middle of the second semester of college and, while some of us may be getting used to living on our own, there are some parts of college that we still don't like (like paying for laundry, #momhelpme).
So, here are some realizations about the second semester, when we think we have our lives together.
1. Ramen noodles start tasting better when that declining balance gets low.
Or when you run out of declining balance two weeks into the semester. Oops.
2. You still think you can handle those 8 a.m. classes.
Quit lying to yourself. You know that you can't handle anything before nine o'clock (and even that is difficult).
3. You tell yourself you are going to do your homework a week early.
LOL. This is a good one.
4. You and your friends nap together and call that "hanging out" because #college.
Those who nap together stay together.
5. You sign up for every food reward program on the planet because the Caf just isn't open at 2 a.m.
You may have used your meal plan last semester but it just isn't the same when you have different classes and a thrown off sleep schedule.
6. You realize this is where you are/not meant to be.
Sometimes you have to realize you need to go somewhere else to be happy or how in love with your university you are. And either realization is perfectly okay.
The second semester of college is important, it's where you finally have some realization of what is going on and you love it the more. So here's to counting the days until spring break.
