Second semester is a rollercoaster of emotions. We are excited to get back to school and see our friends, but then we realize that we actually have to do work and pass our classes this semester. Grey's Anatomy and second semester have a lot in common because they both leave us crying wondering what more could go wrong.

1. I can't wait to see all of my friends! I hope they remember me.

2. It's the night before clases start and I can't sleep, I'm so nervous.

3. I wonder if my teacher would pass me if I suck up to her the first day? It's worth a shot I guess.

4. None of my friends are in my classes. Does this mean I have to make new ones? I don't do well with that.

5. I'm going to do great this semester I'm going to get a 4.0 and no one can stop me.

6. First essay of the year! I'm going to brainstorm and finish this essay early and get a great grade

7. Nope, over it.

8. I can't do it anymore. When's Spring Break?

9. Spring Break is over... I forgot we have to take finals...

10. Finals are FINALLY over, but all of my friends are leaving me to go back home.

11. Alas, another semester in the books.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
