What Does... Think About Me??
It is really easy to get lost in the world that we live in. A world where we question our talent, intelligence, beauty, personality. We feel like we need to me more organized, funny, entertaining. We think we need to talk more, be a leader, be outgoing. We feel like we need to change who we are.
In a world that is full of standards, we feel as if we are failing at being the person that we should be. We are not failures though. When we are trusting in God and confiding in Him, we are far from a failure or disappointment. Our worth does not come from anyone besides God. When we stop listening to God and confiding in Him, that is when we question our worth.
Making Mistakes
Making mistakes is human nature. We do not have to worry about the mistakes we may make because if we do make mistakes, God will still love us. Worrying about always making the right decision and trying to live a life mistake free, is not only impossible, but it is also a scary life to live. If God denied all of us when we made a mistake, then nobody would ever make it to heaven. If we were all perfect and didn't make mistakes or wrong decisions, there would be no need for Jesus in our lives. Our human nature is to be sinful because we have free will. We will fall short of the glory of God, but it does not matter because Jesus is there for us. By confiding with God and trusting in Jesus, we can learn to take risks in our lives without fear or worry.
Stop
Stop second guessing yourself. Ask God to be with you. Stop thinking about how you need to live your life, and live your life for the Lord, and all will work out. God made you exactly how He wanted you and knows His plan for you. Let Him work in your life. If you stop seconding guessing yourself and start asking God, life will be so much easier, and your relationship with Him will grow.
Verse
Jude 1:24
"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-"
Pray
Ask God to help you live a life centered around Him. Ask Him to keep your focus clear in all you do, and that he will help you find your true self
