1. Vanderbilt: Hermione Granger
Hermione is an obvious choice to represent Vanderbilt. She is smart, beautiful, and has a little bit of sass that keeps us from thinking she is a total nerd, just like the students and Vanderbilt. She doesn't seem like a fierce competitor, but she has a bad a** in her just like Vandy does when it comes to football.
2. Mississippi State: Neville Longbottom
Even without a choice, Neville is compared to Harry Potter because he could have been the "chosen one" and he could have been the one Voldemort hated, but he couldn't compare to Harry. This is pretty much equivalent to Mississippi State and Ole Miss, they are always going to be compared and Ole Miss will always end up on top. Yes, Neville (and sometimes State) can be loveable, but they will always be a tad awkward and weird.
3. Ole Miss: Harry Potter
Okay, sure I am being biased, but I just can't help it. Ultimately, Ole Miss is Harry Potter because as Harry Potter is the hero of his book series, in my eyes, Ole Miss is the hero of the SEC. Ole Miss student's are funny, charming, smart, talented, witty, and an all around bad a** just like Harry. Yeah sometimes Ole Miss might fall short, but just like Harry they never stay down.
4. University of Alabama: Voldemort
Or should I say, "he who shall not be named". Everyone who isn't a fan of Alabama or who goes to Alabama hates Alabama, I'm sorry, it's true. Just like Voldemort and his Death Eaters, Alabama truly has a loyal fan base, just they have the whole rest of the SEC rooting against them. And at the end Voldemort gets defeated by Harry Potter (23-17 is all I'm saying).
5. LSU: Dolores Umbridge
The perfect fit for LSU. Though Dolores is not the ultimate enemy like Voldemort is, she is arguably the most hated character in the series just like LSU is with the SEC. Umbridge seems to think it is okay to take charge and rule everything while being rude and obnoxious just like LSU does with the SEC. All I am saying LSU, just wait until you get trampled by centaurs and then you'll learn your place...
6. University of Arkansas: Ron Weasley
Ron Weasley is almost laughable because of his awkwardness and lack of fighting skills, but he is still very like-able and when it comes down to it can kick some serious butt, just like Arkansas. Everyone is surprised when Arkansas does something great which is why they are so much like Ron Weasley.
7. Texas A&M: Professor McGonagall
Just like Professor McGonagall, Texas A&M is serious, sometimes cranky, but still a fan favorite. You never know if Professor McGonagall is gonna make a joke with you or put you in detention, just like you never know if you are gonna be friends or enemies with them A&M fans.
8 and 9. University of Georgia and Florida: Fred and George Weasley
Crazy, goofy, and always up to know good... I think that describes Florida and Georgia perfectly. The two schools always know how to joke around and have fun and sometimes they get on your nerve because you wish they took things more seriously, like football, but ultimately you can't help but smile thinking about them, just like Fred and George.
10. University of Missouri: Draco Malfoy
Low-key no one likes Draco just like no one likes Missouri. Just like Draco is a rookie in the whole bad guy thing, Missouri is a rookie in the SEC. No one knows why they still hang around, but everyone wishes they would go away. And I mean c'mon Mizzou - Malfoy, it just fits.
11. University of Kentucky: Luna Lovegood
Just like Luna, Kentucky is a little unique and no one really knows what their deal is. However just like Luna who kicks butt in all things mythical, Kentucky kicks butt in basketball, which is why we love them both.
12. University of Tennessee: Hagrid
Tennessee is adventurous, rowdy, and almost a little too much to handle, just like Hagrid. However, they are loyal and loveable to their fans just like Hagrid is to his friends. And... they both have horrible fashion sense.
13. University of South Carolina: Severus Snape
Outwardly, Snape seems like a cold-hearted mean human being, but underneath it all he is just a man with a big heart in love with a woman, whom he loves so much that he died for her son. This is South Carolina. South Carolina is stereotyped for being racist, snobby, party-goers, and Greek when in fact they are just normal college kids living their life. Let's give them both a break, okay?
14. Auburn: Ginny Weasley
Ginny is underrated, but is actually one of the coolest characters of the Harry Potter series. She is brilliant, witty, and can kick some serious butt, just like Auburn. However just like Ginny, Auburn is a little shy and tends to be over shadowed by some of the bigger SEC schools.
