Psycho-Pass
Although this is an anime, don't let the negative connotations that go hand-in-hand with this genre ruin your view on "Psycho-Pass." Set in the year 2113, the Sibyl System tracks citizens' mental states which shows the probability of individuals committing crimes. These individuals are usually apprehended and killed. Akane, a new inspector is caught in a dire situation as she stumbles upon criminal Shogo Makishima, who's mental state can't be measured by the Sibyl System, as he is criminally asymptomatic.
Psych
Shawn Spencer has amazing detective skills, which he uses to collect rewards by calling in tips to solve cases. This backfires when the Santa Barbara Police gets suspicious and arrests him, believing him to be the suspect. To get out of going to jail, he uses his observational skills and convinces the police that he is psychic. Shawn opens up a psychic detective agency called "Psych" and aids the police in solving crimes while keeping up the charade that he is a psychic.
