We all know what finals week mean in college: no available seats in the libraries. Now, instead of turning back for the exit, you can use these tips to find yourself a spot to study.
1. Bribe people to give up their seat
This may include giving up the few dollar bills in your wallet or your entire lunch box that you're holding in your hand. Who could reject money and food?
2. Pull the fire alarm
Upon hearing the alarm, people tend to grab all their belongings before scramming for the exit. You can then have your pick of the best seats in the library.
3. Bring your own desk and chair
If you had to, show the entire library your dedication to studying by bringing in your own furniture.
4. Make a bet with a student occupying a library seat
Only make bets that you know you can win, of course.
5. Go outside and study
If you're an introvert and aren't willing to persuade people to give up their seats, the best way to get a study space is by going outside--or in your car if it is cold--and study. Introverts don't win during finals week.
