As Summer has officially come to an end, and Walmart already has Christmas decorations up, I'm slightly confused on how to feel. More importantly, I'm confused on how to dress. During the day, it's like I want a cold lemonade but by about 6:00 PM I'm craving pumpkin spice and hot coffee. The stages of the seasons changing can be confusing, but here are some feelings as told by the cast of The Office:
Stage 1: Denial that summer is over.
We're all clinging to the days of no school and bare feet everywhere we go.
Stage 2: School starting back.
Does anyone actually want to start studying for countless hours again?
Stage 3: Excitement about fall festivities.
PSL's, college football, and pumpkin carving, hello!
Stage 4: Confusion on what to wear.
It's 60 degrees in the morning and 90 degrees by noon. How the heck are we supposed to dress?
Stage 5: The beginning of the chill.
This could go two ways: either you love the cold, or you don't.
Stage 6: CHRISTMAS SONGS.
Jingle Bell Rock hits the radio stations and all hell breaks loose.
Stage 7: Winter gloom.
Whether it's raining or just gross outside, there's always that gloomy stage of winter.
Stage 8: The tease.
We think that Spring is finally coming, but it's totally a tease and it was just one warm day.
Stage 9: Summer fever.
It's still kind of chilly outside but it's April so we pretend it's summer.
Stage 10: The unbearable heat.
It's hot as hades outside and we're too ready for the process to start all over again.
