One of my favorite things about the Lord is His never ending grace. Maybe you have yet to see this displayed in your life or if you think that you will never see it because you are undeserving. Maybe you don't even really understand God's grace.
It is coming: God probably has already shown you glimpses of His grace in your life, you just might now know how to look for it yet.
We have no reason to expect His divine favor, but God shows us it anyways. When we mess up or fall into temptation, God will be there to pick us back up and to show us grace and forgive us. He is a very gracious Father.
I know that there have been several accounts on which God has shown me His grace. Whether it be guiding me through a test that I wasn't prepared for or having His hand of protection over a vehicle when the tire blew out, God has always taken care of me and shown me grace and love.
God's ultimate act of grace was sending Jesus to die for our sins. Undeserving and flawless, Jesus was crucified on a cross so that we might be able to join Him in Heaven one day.
Romans 3:22-24 "This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus".
God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son to die for us so that we can be joined with Him again. That is grace, my friends.
We have all sinned and deserve God's judgment, but instead, He offers us grace.
Will you accept His offer?
If understanding God's grace is something that you struggle with, I encourage you to read the Word or even ask someone that you trust about it.
If you feel like you are the one exception to His grace, then take those feelings to the Lord and be comforted in the fact that those are just lies from the enemy that no longer have to have a hold over you. You are a prized jewel to the Lord, and He loves you.
I encourage you, as you enter this next week, to look for the ways that God is showing you His grace in your life. You won't regret it.
