This morning we woke up to four years of Donald Trump. I am disappointed to live in a world with so much hate and bigotry; a world where we do not all love each other as equals is a bleak thought. I am hurting and sad and in these times I look to God.
Matthew 5:38-48
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.”

1 Peter 5:6-7
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
