School year doesn't have to be so bad!

A Bucket List For This School Year

When summer rolls around, everyone is pumped up for not having school, having all day to do what you want, and making plans with different friends. Sometimes those plans don't always end up happening. Summer jobs start up, everyone wants to spend some time with their families that they haven't seen all school year, and trying to catch up on some sleep and get some rays, but before you know it, school is starting up in a couple weeks. Yes with tears in my eyes it kills me to say it, but summer is slowly coming to an end. When you haven't even made it through half of your "Summer Bucket List."

For college students or boarding schools, going back to school means you get to be around your friends again 24/7 without having to drive to a different state or worry about scheduling. This is why making a school year bucket list is so much better than making a summer time one. Everyone is on the same school schedule, everyone is already together, and there is a bunch of adventures to explore with your squad.

School year bucket lists can include anything that is around or near your school, home, campus ETC. Depending on what you and your friends like to do can lead to discovering new places you never knew was there! Some ideas to get you brainstorming before we all have to really use it;

Find a restaurant that is known for having a special dish or known for being over the top. Or find restaurants that your favorite celebrities rave about and take photos of it. Explore the city you live in by one of the best ways, through food!

Go hiking with a group to overlook the city you live in, not only can the view be amazing, but its also a bonding moment. As the weather gets a little chilly and the stress from school starts to get overwhelming its nice to get away from the campus for a little bit and clear the head. Being in nature is one of the best ways to do it!

Almost everyone loves going to the beach or lake, so why not go on the weekends and have some fun that reminds you of summer? This can be a little tricky if you live or go to school in a land lock state, but soaking up some sun is not only making sure you keep the tan you worked all summer for, but it can also be relaxing to be near the water while the weather is still warm.

See a show, a poetry night, a coffee shop musician. Not only is it fun to get dressed up and go listen or watch something, but its also entertaining to watch, interesting to see, you get to explore new artists and get inspired yourself to create something!

Be a tourist whether you are from the area or not. Visit all the popular and unique spots that make your city special! Or go somewhere so you can be tourists, road trip!

Now road trips can be tough to organize, but it doesn't have to be across the country, maybe just a couple states away. Make a trip to go back home with some of your friends for the weekend! This can be fun not only for your friends but its an excuse to go home and have a break from living in a dorm.

Be creative, adventurous, and spontaneous! "Life is to be enjoyed, not endured."

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
