So you're down to the single digit days if not on your way back to school and you're kind of freaking out because that month flew by. While you may be panicking about that professor that didn't get the best rating on rate my professor, here is some inspiration from "Scream Queens" to help you deal with the moments leading up to returning for spring semester.
So let's start at the beginning of the last week of break. While the last three weeks have been full of relaxation, it's time to turn off Netflix and finally face the reality of checking your school email that you've been avoiding like the plague aka flu this break. But jokes on you because your inbox is 100 emails deep and that's just from the last week...I guess the delete button is your new bff.
So you're sifting through your email when you notice one important one from your professor with the syllabus attached and the message please read BEFORE the first class.
As you skim through the seven page syllabus, you're finally nearing the end when you see there's a freakin assignment due even though class hasn't even started yet!
But that's not even the worst part, oh no wait until you scroll down the syllabus to the required books section and find that not only does the course require 2 books, they're those books that are only offered at the school's bookstore and therefore cost $500 each and honestly that's just ridiculous. Not even Chegg can save you.
But once you've accepted the inevitability that you're going into this semester broke before it even starts, it's time to let out one last scream and focus on the next task at hand.
While we may be dreading the work while gathering school supplies and creating a schedule with classes and extracurriculars where you realize that 24 hours in a day really isn't enough, so you may be feeling like this:
But there is one ray of light among the stress: returning to your friends. Endless laughs and dance parties await you and that is the real reason you're looking forward to going back.
While they may not be the "Chanels," they bring plenty more memories and fun. So here's to making spring semester the best one yet.
