There comes a time every semester when you just feel like you can't, or don't want to, do it anymore.

But, you got this, and hopefully, these 7 quotes will remind you why and inspire you to keep going. One for each day that you can persevere and finish stronger than ever.

1. "Never give up. There are always tough times, regardless of what you do in life. Be able to push through those times and maintain your ultimate goal." - Nathan Chen

Despite the tough times, remember the goal, the light at the end of the tunnel, and push on towards that.

2. "You have to believe in yourself, challenge yourself, and push yourself until the very end; that's the only way you'll succeed." - G-Dragon

Nothing good can come if you don't first believe in yourself. Despite what obstacle comes your way, remind yourself that you can do this.

3. "Humans are creatures of habit. If you quit when things get tough, it gets that much easier to quit the next time. On the other hand, if you force yourself to push through it, the grit begins to grow in you." - Travis Bradberry

Although quitting seems like the easiest thing to do when times get tough, it can't help you in the end. Push the thoughts of giving up aside and push on towards the goal, and grow yourself into a stronger person.

4. "People who avoid the brick walls- all power to ya, but we all have to hit them sometimes in order to push through to the next level, to evolve." - Jennifer Aniston

Everyone gets knocked down once in a while, whether it be a problem emotionally or a bad test grade. However, hitting your lows will bring you up to your best highs. You are capable of rising above.

5. "I feel like dreams are always a little tricky, you know? But if you just push through the struggles and the hard times, it'll be so worth it in the end because you will be able to get your dreams." - Chloe Kim

media.giphy.com

Your dreams are the reason you're where you are today, and they're why you're headed to where you'll be tomorrow. Don't give up on the dream just because it's not a straight path.

6. "Never assume you can't do something. Push yourself to redefine the boundaries." -Brian Chesky

media.giphy.com

You never know how much you're capable of until you try to beat the obstacles in your path.

7. "I always did something I was a little not ready to do. I think that's how you grow. When there's that moment of 'Wow, I'm not really sure I can do this,' and you push through those moments, that's when you have a breakthrough." - Marissa Mayer

Growing as a person makes you stronger and better in the end, and growth cannot show without the difficulties along the way. Keep going and growing.

8. And just in case you needed a little bit more inspiration, I hope you enjoy this one the most!

So if you're like me and are really feeling the burden of the semester on you, and can't see the light at the end, I hope that these quotes have helped you be inspired to push through and make it to the end, stronger than when you started.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
