School. The bane of teenagers existence as they wake up sleepy-eyed with dark half-moons under their eyes, grudgingly making their way toward a bus stop that is too far as their phones signal that it is only 6 in the morning.

However, the bright side of all the tiredness is that they have that one project done and tucked away safely in their binders. But, this article is not based on why you should stress in school and do your best. This article is why you shouldn't and get those five more minutes of sleep snuggled in your covers, warmth embracing you.

1. A College Will Accept You.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/College

College isn't even THAT competitive. There is thousands upon thousands of colleges and universities in America, because of this, some colleges end up being as hard to get into as others. Chances are you will probably end up in one. Can you see yourself being happy in a college with a high school career that was stress-free? Sure, your grades weren't stellar. And you might not have had that many leadership positions. Yet, there you are. Defining your future. I am sure your classmates, those who worried endlessly about their grades and that tiniest decrease in them, will resent you.

2. You Don't Have To Go To College

This is the 21st century and technology usage has skyrocketed, meaning that jobs relating to this have been created or increased. Take YouTube, and its many content creators (known as YouTubers) that earn a lot of money for simply posting silly or funny videos, only lasting a couple of minutes. If they can, you can too. Take the user nigahiga (Ryan Higa) and TheOdd1sOut (James Rallison), both college dropouts and doing just fineeeeee. Aside from this, you can become a famous movie star with college education like Brad Pitt or Jim Carrey. Maybe even be an international singer like Lady Gaga and John Mayer. OR you can be a famous writer like F. Scott Fitzgerald or even become one of the world's best designers, like Coco Chanel. There are endless possibilities! You just have to pick one and stick to it, much like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates did.

3. Gold-Digger

Success is relative. Some people define it by independence. Or self-happiness. Others define by wealth. If you define it by the amount of zeroes that are present in your bank account, then you might as well marry to the wealthy. Use your charm and flirtatious skills to earn one of those people in the top one percent or if you aim is a little smaller, a neurosurgeon. Or marry a senior citizen just sitting in a pile of gold. Besides, if someone criticizes you, wipe your tears with money. It's ok! Get over it and keep strutting in your designer shoes.

Yes, people. Success can be achievable based on what you define it. If that is going to Harvard or going to community college, it is up to you. What really matters, however, is your happiness. And, I know for a fact, that stress is not happiness. So, if your thing isn't being unhappy and permanently anxious, remember that you shouldn't worry about what colleges are going to accept you or how you are going to pay your bills because, after all, there are endless solutions to those problem. And, always remember that school doesn't matter.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
