What you can do to help

For the recent case of George Floyd, his family has set up a GoFundMe for the funeral and burial costs. Sign the petitions asking for reforms. If you are having difficult financial times right, share the link and let others know how they can support as well. Support the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the people behind it.

Support their stories as you aren't facing the same reality as they are, BELIEVE what they are saying. Educate yourself as to what Black lives are targeted more from the police. Speak up and educate on the system that the police supports and how it constantly gives little support to BIPOC. Support Black voices and their causes, before they die. Recognize any biases you might have and learn about you can teach yourself a new perspective. You can support by buying from their business instead of Amazon.

When protesting, be safe and wear masks and goggles. You may be tear gassed but also the masks will help against COVD-19 and being recognized in videos. If you wish to share the protest to help it spread, then do not record the faces as people can be identified that way. Using milk as a backup in order to help fight the burning sensation of tear gas.

Speak their names.
