Instagram: The social media platform where sharing photos of yourself and your life can be easily manipulated. Where you get to pick and choose how your body, hair, make up and clothes look. How you get to post photos, no matter how photo-shopped, and trick people into thinking it's how you really look. Instagram – the platform known to be of all real people posting photos of their not so real life.

However, in the world of social media there are often communities which is what makes social media so unique. In the whole Instagram world, you can break off into little groups and only follow those with the same interests you have – photography, travel, fashion, food, etc. Getting wrapped up in the luxurious lives of your peers and content creators can be avoided if you know your purpose for using the media.

Not too long ago, Instagram launched a campaign very near and dear to my heart. This campaign is known as the #HereForYou campaign, and it was created for those struggling with their mental health. While no, this is not your typical form of marketing, there is no product, no company, nothing to be sold, what Instagram is marketing here is something we so often ignore – ourselves, and our health.

We often fall into this black hole of marketing campaigns promoting products to make us lose weight faster, make us tanner, make us look better. Due to the media and the images companies have so often posted online, we think of words like "beauty", "worthwhile", "amazing", "pretty", "lovable", and think that means being thin, having flawless skin, and looking a certain way that has been created through the eye of companies trying to sell beauty, make up and fashion products. We often fall so deep into this that we forget about the most important thing – ourselves.

With this campaign, Instagram is building a community around those who struggle with mental health. Individuals can share their stories and add the hashtag, #HereforYou, to connect with others who are also battling similar struggles.

This hashtag has spread like wildfire through the world of Instagram. The campaign has been bringing people together to create a community of love and support while also bringing awareness to mental health struggles people are facing.

This campaign spread through users – not by a company posting the same photos on all media. The users of the platform brought this campaign to life and that is what makes it so incredible. This community used this platform for something so much greater than showing off a photo-shopped, "luxurious" life.

This campaign demonstrates that we can utilize the media to help us build connections with people all over the world, and connect with those who are like us. This campaign shows that marketing is more than just a product, and that a marketing campaign online can spread so rapidly. This campaign is bringing people together, and through it people will continue to speak up and share their story and connect with those like them.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
