Saved By Grace

I could praise God every second of every day and it wouldn't be enough.

Christians are often labeled hypocrites. However, just because I am a Christian doesn't mean I don't make mistakes. We all sin. Being a Christian doesn't make me exempt from life's temptations, but it does remind me of why I stray from them.

A man I did not know knew me. He set aside a path for my life before I ever opened my eyes. That same man walks with me everyday, and every time I fall, He is there to lift me up and set me on my way again. No matter how many times I fail Him, He is always waiting with open arms. When I have no one to talk to, He listens. When my heart is broken, He mends it. When I am lost, He finds me. Does He get tired of caring for me? No. His love for me is unconditional, and He will never leave me.This man is Jesus. He died for me and for you. He did this so I could be forgiven of my sins and spend eternity with Him in heaven. You may ask yourself, "why would God love a sinner like me?" The answer is He created you. He knew you would sin and chose to love you regardless. God accepts us at our worst and with him, we become our best. I love to hear people say they are "saved." It makes me see our God as a hero who rescues anyone who cries out. It overwhelms me that all I had to do was call out to him. He saved me the minute I sat down to pray. I didn't pay to become a Christian or recite the whole bible backwards in Chinese. I prayed. There is no other explanation for this phenomenal event than grace.

May we all remember as we lay down at night the reason we are here.A man you did not know knew you. He made a path for you. He is there for you in whatever situation comes along. He loves you unconditionally now and forever. He is Jesus and we are all just sinners saved by grace.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
