Download and use an app that raises money depending on the distance you walk while you go hunt Pokémon! Here are some of my favorites.

1. Charity Miles

You get to choose which charity your miles support from a long list before you start walking! Just make sure you’re connected to the Internet when you end your walk on the app so the miles register properly.

2. Walk For A Dog

You’ll raise money for an animal shelter near you to while you catch Pokémon. You can even take your real dog for a walk at the same time!

3. ResQwalk

Raise money for your local animal rescue by walking! You can also invite your friends to the app and compete against them and share photos of your walk (and the Pokémon you catch along the way)!

4. Walk For Water

If you meet certain step goals, then sponsors make donations to charity on your behalf! These go to support water projects all around the world.

Pick your favorite of these apps and help make a change in the world while you’re running around town collecting Pokémon, especially since it requires no extra effort or money on your part!

It takes a little while to get used to not seeing your high school best friends every day. Going away to college causes a lot of changes, but one thing that will never change is my love for my high school BFFs, and the texts that I get from them. College is filled with many things, and we're so often lectured to make the right decisions as we head out on our own into the college life. But sometimes it's necessary to indulge in some guilty pleasures as well as just doing things because you can. And honestly, a lot of the time it's inevitable. College is no piece of cake that's for sure, so it's okay to do some things you deep down know you shouldn't....once in a while anyways.
