Morgan Matson's 'Save The Date' Is The Book To Read Right Now

Morgan Matson's new book "Save The Date" is absolutely one of the best books that I have read this summer and it is definitely one that you should add to your reading list ASAP.

This book follows Charlie as she gets ready for her sister's wedding and tries to have the best weekend with all her siblings together while trying to block out her reality of having to prepare for college in the fall. All while trying to deal with her huge crush on her neighbor/her brother's best friend, the cute new wedding planner assistant and to top it all off she's dealing with the ending of her mother's comic about their family and the fight that pushed one of her brothers away. This book is one that truly can relate to so many different people and it has elements that so many of us have either gone through or are going through right now.

Matson did such an amazing job with the character development and creation throughout this book. You truly get to know them and can actually picture this family and the things that go on in the book, it's like you're part of the family. Matson is able to masterfully combine the life of dealing with all the family and wedding issues while trying to juggle the crazy world of preparing to go to college and trying to decide what to do with those decisions.

I literally could not put this book down when I was reading it. It was definitely a 'one more chapter just one more chapter' book and then next thing I knew it was 12:30 a.m. and I finished it the next morning. In addition to the characters, the storyline is done so beautifully that it is just something that you could really see happening.

This book does an amazing job of making you feel like you're a part of the Grant family and for someone who is an only child, it is a really great insight to see the world of siblings and the relationships that can exist there. Matson truly does an amazing job of portraying the realness of family life and the relationships that do and don't exist between family members.

This truly is a great book to add to your reading list and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new book to read or something new to add to their "to be read" list. Morgan Matson's "Save The Date" will definitely be the book you can't put down until you've finished it. It is a beautiful read and a great portrayal of family. Matson expertly covers the struggle of preparing for college and the craziness of a big family wedding. This book will make you laugh and cry and just want to go spend some time with your family.

From the cover to the Grant family comic strips inside to the story of family and big life moments, "Save The Date" is your new must-read book right now and you will not regret reading this book!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
