We're at that point in the semester where finals week is right around the corner, and you're more stressed than you can handle. Well luckily there's a cure for everything, and my go-to cure for stress has always been humor. And who's better at humor than the cast members of "Saturday Night Live" (SNL)?

So if you're in desperate need of a laugh, or if you just need a study break, here are 21 "SNL" sketches that make life a little bit better.

1. Weekend Update: Roseanne Rosannadanna on Smoking (1978)

Gilda Radner was an "SNL" icon and her character Roseanne Rosannadanna is absolutely priceless. This character's tangents and her stellar advice are bound to bring a smile to your face.

2. Weekend Update: Jane, You Ignorant Slut (1979)

So you think Michael Scott was the first person to ever call someone an "ignorant slut" on television? In this edition of "Point/Counterpoint", these two "SNL" veterans throw insult after insult at one another, and it will definitely give anyone the case of the giggles.

3. White Like Me (1984)

In this mockumentary, Eddie Murphy masquerades as a white man around New York City to explore racial injustices. By far, this is one of Murphy's most memorable skits.

4. Matt Foley: Van Down By The River (1993)

Not only is this absolutely hilarious, but it will kick you into gear to start getting your life together and to ace all of those finals!

5. Jacuzzi Lifeguard (1996)

It's a sketch that involves Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell..what more could you possibly want?

6. Corksoakers (2004)

These Italian Vineyard owners, portrayed by Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz, have a little trouble getting their point across when explaining what it takes to be a corksoaker.

7. Harry Potter: Hermione Growth Spurt (2004)

Just a note: The growth spurt is NOT talking about her height.

8. Debbie Downer: Disney World (2004)

Debbie Downer is all of us during finals week.

9. United Way (2007)

The way Peyton Manning throws footballs at those kids is how I feel with my professors throwing assignments at me.

10. Jack Sparrow (feat. Michael Bolton) (2011)

This is performed by The Lonely Island, which is a comedy trio that was hired by "SNL" in 2005 where all 3 actors featured here were cast as writers, and with Andy Samberg as a cast member. This is a digital short that the trio created that was aired on the show, and it is hysterical. (Warning: Strong language is used)

11. Herb Welch: Falling Ice (2011)

It's widely known that Bill Hader is the master of impressions and voices, so seeing him portray an elderly news reporter is nothing short of fantastic.

12. Target Lady: Boogie Bulks Up (2012)

To be fair, almost any "Target Lady" skit is flawless because Kristen Wiig's character is always too busy oversharing information about her personal life, and it's honestly just so relatable.

13. The Shooting AKA Dear Sister (2014)

A lot of fans have said this is the greatest "SNL" sketch of all time, so if you have a weird sense of humor, then this one is for you.

14. Back Home Ballers (2014)

AKA: Me every single time I go home for break.

15. Close Encounter (2015)

Kate McKinnon is an absolute legend, and the story of her character's alien abduction will have you falling out of your seat.

16. Star Wars Auditions (2015)

J.J. Abrams shares unseen footage of auditions and screen tests for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". If you're in desperate need of a laugh, then you're looking at the right video.

17. SNL 40: Celebrity Jeopardy (2015)

Will Ferrell returns for the 40th Anniversary of "SNL" to reprise his impersonation of Alex Trebek, where he desperately tries his best to keep his rowdy contestants in line.

18. A Girl's Halloween (2016)

This will bring back flashbacks from any Halloween you have ever celebrated, and the nostalgia will (hopefully) cheer you up.

19. Dunkin Donuts (2016)

Everybody has seen someone act like this in a Dunkin Donuts, and that's a fact.

20. Amazon Echo (2017)

The Amazon Echo Silver is designed for the older generation, and it turns out exactly like you think it's going to.

21. Nike Women's Ad (2018)

An ad directed towards women who wear Nike leggings, that although is meant for working out, is mostly used for just sitting on the couch.

22. Diner Lobster (2018)

Truly one of the most bizarre skits that definitely do not turn out the way you expect. Do yourself a favor and press play.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
