1. They're always caught up on your life. From good grades to your last breakup. And they're always there for you in your time of need.

2. You create tons of insiders.

3. The exchange of hilarious memes, gifs, and videos.

4. Even when no one's been hitting you up all day, at least you can count on one person to text you every 5 minutes.

--not to mention they're one of your favorite people anyways.

5. You get to know those little things about them that you can only learn from tons of time spent together.

6. You get to know their schedule. It becomes easier because you know when they're free.

7. You become a "unit." When you say: "I'm going shopping" the "I'm" really means "my best friend and I."

8. You always have someone to gossip to. I mean if you can't gossip to your bff who can you gossip to?

9. Because there's nothing like talking to someone who cares genuinely about you, makes you laugh, and is there for you no matter what.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
