20 Signs You're Actually Monica Geller

We all love "Friends" and the amiable characters that are portrayed. Some of us know it so well that we feel we connect with a certain role. If you are a compulsive cleaner and like to have things your way, you might just be a real-world Monica Geller.

1. You have a past you're not too happy about

Sure, we all have things in our past we don't like to bring up. Some have specific events, while others have entire years from their childhood.

2. It seems as though your friends spend more time in your house than you do

You come home to notes on your white board and an empty fridge.

3. You're extremely close to your best friend

You've been friends for what feels like forever and you've basically become a part of their family.

4. You like to have things go a certain way

Not just a certain way, your way.

5. You have a secret closet

And you do your best to keep it that way.

6. You're too often the bearer of bad news

You know when your friends need to hear the truth and that there's no point in sugar-coating life.

7. You try to make the best out of a bad situation

No matter how awkward it may be, you know that it can only last so long.

8. You can be a bit competitive

If your friends drop to the ground when you pull out Pictionary, you may have a problem.

9. You notice everything

No one can sneak by with anything when you're around.

10. You always want to make others happy

Does the phrase "people pleaser" sound familiar?

11. You don't take losses easily

You always play to win.

12. You have no shame in taking time to celebrate you

Because you're always helping out your friends, you have no problem requesting one night to be about you.

13. You do your best when admitting your faults

You can't imagine breaking a relationship because of a simple mistake.

14. Certain things are just common sense to you

Why wouldn't you want to clean the kitchen counters three times before you go to bed?

15. You and your friends basically have one mind

You ask their opinion, but you already know they're thinking the same thing as you.

16. You're always prepared

No matter where you are, you're ready for whatever comes your way.

17. It's important to be the hostess

You throw the best parties and always want to provide a space for your friends to hang out.

18. You compete with your siblings

Your sibling may be your best friend until you disappoint your parents.

19. You're not afraid to tell it like it is

You know when you need to stand up for yourself and you have no issue saying exactly what someone needs to hear.

20. You're not afraid of trying new things

Whether it's a new food or a new hairstyle, you're up for the challenge.
