There are many great ballparks in Major League Baseball, but the Seattle Mariners home of Safeco Field will always have my heart.
With garlic fries, downtown Seattle, and the Griffey statue, Safeco has so much to offer. Safeco has great food, drinks, views, and sunny summer days, it's a great place to catch a game. Safeco Field has been home to the Seattle Mariners for almost 20 years and is known for having a modern yet retro style that everyone loves.
Here are 7 reasons why Safeco Field is the best field to be for a baseball game, don't even @ me.
1. Garlic fries
Actually heaven, no other fries compare to this garlicly deliciousness.
2. The "Pen"
Beers next to the bullpen, sign me up. There's also a happy hour before the game!
3. Retractable roof
It's always a nice day when you have the option of a roof. Only five other ballparks have retractable roofs.
4. Dave Niehaus statue
Say "my oh my" and take a pic with the legendary voice of the Mariners.
5. King's Court
Get a free shirt and pump up the crowd when King Felix is pitching. Tickets here are only $30 and you get a free shirt and sign on the main level!
6. Safeco views
See the Space Needle in the background and the beautiful sights of the PNW at one of the most beautiful ballparks.
7. Bark at the Park
By far the CUTEST M's tradition, see all the good boys that are true to the blue.
Go M's!
