After the stress of another school year, we all want to have the best summer vacation possible. Whether at the beach, amusement park, or relaxing by the pool it is important that you take necessary precautions in order to truly enjoy the warm weather. To help you do that, this article will provide a helpful list of just a few tips to help keep you safe in the summer heat.

1. Always apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30).

Even if you don't burn easily, it is important to apply sunscreen, even on cloudy days, in order to protect against potentially harmful UVA and UVB rays. Be sure to put it on before leaving the house and re-apply!

2. Wear sunglasses.

Just like sunscreen, sunglasses can protect your eyes from damaging ultraviolet rays. This is particularly important for people with blue eyes which lack many of the pigments that darker eyes have.

3. Stay hydrated.

In the extreme heat of the summer, it is extremely important that you stay hydrated. Be sure to drink a lot of water and pay close attention for signs of dehydration.

4. Use bug spray.

Everyone hates bug bites, but serious mosquito and flea borne illnesses are at a seasonal high during the summer. Take care to apply bug spray, especially if you are going to be spending time in a woodsy area and always check yourself for ticks.

There are many other ways to keep yourself healthy and safe this summer, but these are some of the most important.

You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
