We all get sad, its a part of being human. Sometimes we want to listen to music to make us feel happier because feeling sad 24/7 can be exhausting but sometimes we want to hear some sad songs, jam out a little, and maybe cry. I got some feels songs for you so get ready! Here are my top ten feels songs that will have you feeling some type of way!

Song one : This song is about someone who puts people above herself. She cares about others so much that there is nothing left for her and she feels like she can't talk to anyone about her feelings of sadness, stress, etc because she thinks her emotions will be a nuisance to others.

Song two: Dodie Clark made a beautiful song that encompasses loving someone and then losing them. This song is for all the loves you had loved and lost. It also makes you question: "Is it me?"

Song three: From the smash hit "Her" we got "The Moon Song." The moon song isn't the typical sad song, it's more of a contempt song that gives the feeling of sadness. Hear me out! If you have ever watched the movie her you know that the main protagonist falls in love with his AI (I know, this is a really short and bad spark-noted version of the movie). The song is a great representation of the love the was seen in the movie. In the song, we notice that the people love one another very deeply even beyond time and space but the thing keeping them apart is space and that fact that one is alive and the other has none of their own.

Song four: This song is for the dreamers who imagined a life with their crush but eventually, reality hits them. The person feels like a fool for letting her walls down and hoping for something when she knew it was too good to be true. If that doesn't hurt your heart, I don't know what will.

Song five: This song illustrated a person who knows somethings wrong and can feel that their partner might break up with them. During the chorus, the singer pleads with their partner to let them down slowly because this amount of pain is just too much for them to take. This song HURTS the heart, especially if you have been broken up with before.

Song six: This song is one of the saddest songs I think I've heard that came out in 2018. The songs tells a story of a young man who is in a relationship but finds out his girlfriend cheated on him and everyone is telling him let go. Throughout the song, he illustrates his feelings of betrayal and sadness over his lost love. This song really hits you hard if you have every been cheated on and need to move on.

Song seven: “The Broken Hearts Club" is the embodiment of someone who has been distraught over being broken up. The song implies that there is a broken hearts club and in this club there are people who also feel the same pain the singer feels. This is an especially sad song because when someone breaks up with another person the person being broken up feels like they are the only ones feeling this pain, this song shows that there are people who understand the pain but even understanding can't take the pain away.

Song eight: If you usually put on your radio on your daily drive to work, you might have heard this song about 100 times. This song is about someone who was in a relationship who found someone who was broken. During the relationship, the person helps their partner but finds out that their partner has done something terrible. Now, the singer says that she's done and how their partner used them to get ahead in life, now the ex has to survive without the success the singer gave them.

Song nine: This song is about someone who has been hurt and they build this wall to protect themselves from pain. Throughout the song, the singer would rather have their heart locked away, barely broken than broken. But towards the end, the singer sees that nothing will change until he/she changes. It's a touching song of being too afraid to love again after pain.

Song 10: This song....is the ultimate sad boi hours song. The song is about someone who suffers from depression and how many people don't realize that in one way or another almost everyone has felt depression. The writer explains his distaste for the fake happiness and smiles and how many people don't talk about mental illness.

I hope you guys enjoyed the sad song list!

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
