So no one told you life was gonna be this way...

After a 12-year break, "Friends" is finally back for a reunion episode. I know, I know, this was unexpected for us all. But here we are, coming February we will have one last episode.

Fans, fanatics, and casual consumers of "Friends," maybe you had a similar reaction when first seeing the announcement of a reunion.

The Double Take

So you're scrolling through Twitter or Facebook and you see a headline, "Friends Reunion Confirmed." Very nice, very nice, keep scrolling—wait, what, go back. This through me off, I wasn't prepared to be confronting this kind of situation today or maybe ever. Are we sure it said "reunion" and "confirmed" in the same sentence?

Denial

This just isn't true, rumors always spread. Not everything on the Internet is true, right? "Friends" ended 12 years ago, Rachel got off the plane and that was that. I'm not expecting anything from this, we were on a break. I don't need this kind of stress in my life...but, maybe I'll do some more research.

Anger

Okay, so it's true. We are going to get another episode of "Friends," but now they might not be able to get them together at the same time? First you tell me there will be a reunion, then Matthew Perry can't be there in person, and then we can't be guaranteed the gang will be together. What is the point.

Bargaining

I know I was angry before and said some things I didn't mean.I know I asked what the point was but, I get the point you don't have to explain it to me. Maybe you can even give us a few more episodes? Or not, one is fine too. We will take as many characters and episodes as we can take. I promise I won't ask for too much. But one question, can we get Janice, and Crap Bag, and one last performance of Smelly Cat?

Depression

This is not going to be good for my academic, social, or Netflix life. I have to re-watch every episode, all 10 seasons, of Friends. I have a lot of other shows that I need to finish and continue binge watching so this is going to set my schedule back a lot. February will be here before we know it. How can I possibly get this done before February.

Acceptance

So we have a month before a revival episode of "Friends." We are truly blessed to have more opportunities to see our favorite show and characters come back together for one last hurrah. This should be an amazing experience.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
