6 Kinds Of Rx Bars, Ranked Accordingly To Satisfy All Your Snacking Needs
@rxbar

If you know me, you know that I eat one of these bars every day of the week. Whether for a quick breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack, or a pre-workout energy boost, I always have one of these super delicious and healthy-for-you granola bars in my bag.

Yes, the RX bars are definitely a trendy fad and yes, they're super basic and go along with the cycling-barre-workoutaholic-healthy-veganistic lifestyle, but I definitely find these bars to be more than that. They're flavorful yes, but they also make you feel full and well energized. From my own experience of trying out different flavors and tastes, I came up with a mini-list devoted to my favorites, and least favorites, and depending on your mood, what flavor should be best suited for you. Here goes!

1. Mixed berry

Being my staple go-to flavor, I enjoy eating these in the mid-afternoon, or for lunch. The smooth texture and berry flavors go well during the day when you're craving a sweet tooth or a heaping of fruit for the day. Definitely top of my list and the smooth chewiness is a perfect added touch.

2. Chocolate sea salt

Definitely not everyone's favorite, but it sure is one of mine! I find myself eating these in halves, when I have a sugar craving and want some chocolate, or when I find myself at 9 pm getting a bit hungry while doing work. It substitutes really any other dessert and is definitely the healthier option. A bit too salty sometimes, depending on the bar, but the flavor is a good mix of dark chocolate and salt, and is chewy in effect. 10/10

3. Blueberry

Another one of my favorites, except this is strictly blueberry, mixed with a few nuts and dates here and there. Can't go wrong with this fruity-9am-pre-class breakfast bar.

4. Coconut chocolate

In my opinion, this one is too coconutty for my liking and personal taste. Definitely bothers my throat and is a bit harsher in flavor, but in small doses, it could be satisfying. For the pre-workout on-the-go mood.

5. Pumpkin spice

Yuck, seriously stay away from this one. I felt like, the one time I tried it, I was eating the inside rinds of an actual pumpkin. Too pungent in flavor, too gritty for my liking. Nope, not for me!

6. Peanut butter

LOVE. So good, so peanutty and buttery and yummy. I sometimes eat this alongside an apple or other fruit and use the bar as a substitute for creamy peanut butter that I usually would get carried away with. Another really great flavor giving you just what you would expect.

Yay for snacking!!! Yay for no BS!!!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
