It’s really hard to say no to those wide green eyes.

When I took in a stray kitten a few months ago, I did not know much about her besides the fact that she stole my heart.

As my boyfriend was driving by the food mart in the small town we were living in, we saw that there was a woman outside with kittens trying to find them homes. He told me that we would come back right after we stopped at the gas station to fill up the tank.

When we returned to the store, the woman and the kittens were gone, so I went inside and asked the cashier about her.

Once the cashier told me which house belonged to the woman, I walked over there and asked if she had any kittens left. To my surprise, she checked the sex of the kitten and handed her to me without asking any questions.

I wrapped her up in a blanket and carried her home with her looking at me the entire time. She has been very loving toward me since the beginning, her favorite place to nap is being curled up to my neck.

My boyfriend and I fell in love with her personality. Our other fur baby was unsure of her at first, but she quickly took her under her wing and began acting motherly toward her.

Our kitten is a five-month-old Russian Blue. The “blue” comes from their fur, which is a beautiful bluish-grey. They usually have big bright green eyes.

Russian Blues are very aware of their human's mood, which makes them quick to comfort you when you’re sad or curl up with you when you’re relaxed. They like the same amount of attention they give to their humans to be reciprocated.

These kitties are super playful, and they are exceptional at playing fetch. My little one took me by surprise when my boyfriend threw a ball down the hallway, and she came back with it in her mouth and proudly dropped it in his hand.

Later on, when doing research on my cat’s breed, I learned that it is a common thing among Russian Blues.

Loyalty and affection toward their humans being a couple of their best traits, they immediately become a part of the family once you bring them into your home.

It is also common for Russian Blue cats to wake their humans up first thing in the morning, ready to be fed. My girl crawls on top of my head around the time that I wake up and meows at me until one of two things happen...I wake up and pet her or she lays on top of me and takes a nap.

My Russian Blue kitty has been a little ray of light in my life since the day that we took her home with us.

Getting to know your cat’s personality and temperament is something that will benefit both you and your cat. It will make them feel more comfortable, which will strengthen your bond.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
