Studies show that the most efficient runners have a running pace of 180 steps per minute, and a really helpful way to achieve that goal is listening to songs that are also at 180 beats per minute. It can help with your form and pace.

So, this is prime time after the holidays or if you have a 2019 goal of getting more fit to hit the treadmill. There are a variety of songs from any genre you prefer that are at 180 bpm, and it can all come up in a simple search. There are also Spotify playlists: "Running High Tempo" which is all 170-180 bpm and "Fast Pop Run", which are super helpful, but if you want your own playlist, just add what you like.
