13 Unlucky Men Who Have Missed Out On Being 'The Bachelor,' There Just Aren't Enough Seasons

After the not-so-shocking announcement of the next bachelor, people have been debating who actually deserved to be Bachelor. There were talks of a lot of different men to be the next bachelor: Jason, Blake, Joe, Peter and, of course, Colton Underwood, who ended up getting the position.

This poses the question, who else has missed the opportunity to be the bachelor by just a hair. Every season, there a couple of fan-favorites that everyone petitions to be the bachelor. Every season there are one or two men who we love, but Chris Harrison looks straight past.

Here a look back at men from the past few seasons that could've should've would've been the bachelor.

Mike Johnson

Mike seemed like the PERFECT pick, but Pilot Peter Weber ultimately got the gig.

2. Jason TartickĀ

Jason is the ultimate heartbreak that everyone is going through now that they have declared Colton the next bachelor.

3. Blake Horstmann

Another guy from Becca's season that was a huge fan-favorite.

4. Luke Pell

Luke was JoJo's soulmate, but things turned sour for him when he went on "Bachelor Winter Games."

5. Peter Kraus

Peter was the runner-up on Rachel's season and a huge favorite. However, we haven't seen any more of him since his bachelorette season.

6. Eric BiggerĀ

Eric, another favorite from Rachel's season, had a couple chances on BIP and "Winter Games."

7. Wills Reid

A favorite from Becca's season that made it on BIP for a short period of time.

8. Dean Unglert

An adorable smile that just can't seem to keep a relationship. He never made it to be the bachelor, but he was a full-time BIP contestant.

9. Wells Adams

Wells may not have been bachelor, but he got Sarah Hyland. So, he wins.

10. Jared Haibon

Before Ashley I., Jared was the favorite on Kaitlyn's season. Two BIP seasons later, he found love with his soulmate.

11. Joe Bailey

The biggest shock was this bachelor-favorite turning evil on BIP.

12. Chase McNary

Chase has slowly excluded himself from bachelor nation, but we can't forget how much we loved him on his season.

13. Grocery Store Joe

I saved the best for last. The one who didn't make it past the first day, but still stole America's heart!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast ā€œBirthdayā€ on anyoneā€™s birthday. I knew all of the words to ā€œBack In The U.S.S.Rā€ by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. Iā€™m not someone to ā€œfangirlā€ but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
