'Run' Is The Only Pair Of Headphones You'll Ever Need

As a girl who spends a fair amount of time in the gym, I've been in search of the right pair of headphones for years. I've dealt with long cords getting tangled and headphones that don't stay in place. I thought I had tried them all.

Owning a proper pair of headphones might not seem like a huge deal to some people. However, as a competitive twirler and dancer, I consistently have performances to prepare for, which requires rehearsing to music. It can disrupt training when I'm worrying about my headphones falling out or constantly adjusting them. A couple of months ago, my mom found the Jaybird Run headphones. When she handed them to me, I thanked her, but didn't really think they would be different from anything that I tried. The next day, I took them to the gym and was astounded at the difference good headphones make!

"Run" is the specific type of bluetooth headphone from the Jaybird brand. They were designed specifically for running, but are great for other high-impact workouts and training sessions. Aside from the fact that they are cordless and actually stay in place during a workout, the Jaybird Run headphones have other innovative features. They come in a compact charging case, so whenever you are not using them, they are charging themselves! You only have to plug the charging case into the wall after about 12 hours of use.

So if you listen to them a couple of hours a day, you would only have to plug it into the wall about once a week. There is also a button on each earpiece which has additional functions to pause, play, or skip to the next song. One of my favorite features is the ability to answer calls through my headphones, even if my phone is across the room.

I would absolutely recommend these headphones to anyone that goes to the gym and listens to music during their workout. I'm tossing out my tangled ball of headphone cords and I'm changing my life with the Jaybird Run headphones.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.
