For those of you that haven't been blessed with the sport of rowing: wow I'm sorry.
See I was one of the lucky kids. My area of my home state had rowing. I got into it because my brother was a fantastic rower. (I wanted to join to get physically fit...wow what a joke now since I was a coxswain).
Being apart of a team that truly needed teamwork, is an amazing feeling. You need everyone in your boat to move perfectly. Everyone has to be on the same page together. If one person screws up your all going down (at least for that one stroke). There is always time to change it around and become better. You go through crazy practice hours. From 6-9:30 at night or morning practices sometimes 6AM-8AM but wow would you not change a thing. Seeing the sunrise/sunset is an amazing feeling that makes being out on the water at crazy hours worth it. Don't forget about those crazy bus trips too. From memories you will share with out your coach sometimes too, it's sure to be a crazy time but rowing becomes apart of you. You become apart of something greater that truly makes it a team / boat effort
