Any concert goer can agree with one thing, there are several different emotions that come with attending a live show. Whether it's for a big artist or a small hometown band, if you're a fan, you know how it feels before, during, and after that show. The average person goes through so many emotions when it comes to a concert, especially if they are seeing is their favorite artist or band. There are a few stages of "the feels" that we, music lovers, go through upon attending a show. Here are 13 feelings we all feel.

1. The utter excitement that comes when you get your tickets.

Yes! This show is probably going to be sold out and I am going. (Sorry bank account!)

2. The agonizing pain of waiting.

It's December and the show is in August. I may die before then.

3. Listening to that artist/band nonstop until the show.

I've already listened to this album hundreds of times, but now I'm going to see them live so I have to listen to it every single day.

5. The night before the concert.

Oh my god, I probably won't sleep. The anticipation is killing me.

6. Waiting in line.

You're excited for about 5 minutes until you realize you have a handful of hours left of waiting – and you already know it's going to be hell.

7. Getting into the venue.

Once your ticket gets scanned you run like hell to that stage, making damn sure you're pressed right up against that barricade.

8. Wanting to slaughter the people trying to move you.

You better take your elbow out of my rib-cage if you know what's good for you.

9. When your fave comes on.

Oh yes, it's happening and I am here. This is what I have been waiting for all of my life.

10. Pure joy of being in the moment with your favorite artist or band.

This is probably the happiest moment of my life

11. The feeling of utter panic as you try to leave once it's over.

Where are my friends? Am I even going the right way?

12. Post Concert Depression (PCD).

Oh, it's so real and the pain is unbearable. The only thing you have to do now is look at pictures and watch videos from the show.

13. The happy or sad feeling of knowing they'll tour again.

Another waiting game, who knows how long it'll be?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
