Ross is still the worst

The show "Friends" was so popular during the 1990s and early 2000s that it literally shaped the world around it. And while some of its jokes haven't stood the test of time too well, its still just as popular today. I have often wondered, as I'm sure many others have, what the friends would be like today. Well wonder no more, as I have come to definitively say exactly who the friends would be as 2016 millennials.

Rachel Green

If Rachel Green lived today she'd be the ultimate Instagram goals. She'd be a social media mogul and would have to make money selling FitTea and hair vitamins. In high school she was super popular, and was a spoiled brat up until age 19. After high school she ran away to the big city with dreams of being a model, but instead has 25k followers on Instagram and is such #stylegoals.

Joey Tribbiani

Joey is still a struggling actor. But instead of finding fame as Doctor Drake Ramoray on "Days of Our Lives", he ended up starring in the first gender swapped showing of "Chicago" on Broadway. Before that, he lived at home with his six sisters, because rent is expensive even when you have a roommate. He's still very good with women, but instead forms semi-meaningful relationships with them, rather than sleeping with them and not calling them.

Monica Geller

Monica has her own fitness blog. She documents her weight loss from high school, posts exercise routines and healthy recipes on a timed schedule everyday. Its really popular, and has gained her a large following of fans, who she lovingly calls the Moniters. She also runs her own Etsy store where she sells all natural cleaning products with very specific instructions on how they should be used.

Chandler Bing

Chandler is still in college. He never fully decided on what he wanted to do, so he's changed his major five or six times now. He gets by working at a corporate job that he hates, and low-key dreams of being a comedian. All of his jokes are the same though, very self deprecating humor. He came from a very wealthy background, but refuses to accept any money from his now divorced parents because he's above that.

Phoebe Buffay

Phoebe is a vegan, but not the obnoxious kind that tells you off for not being vegan. She also protests, quite frequently, and pretty much lived at Standing Rock to prevent the Dakota Access Pipeline from happening. Pheebs regularly posts videos on YouTube of her singing, some covers but mostly original songs. She makes almost all of her own clothes and is very into crystal meditation and healing. She does an almost obscene amount of yoga.

Ross Geller

Ross is a "cool" professor at a local college. He's obsessed with "Doctor Who" and is not afraid to show it, regularly making references that cause his students to cringe. Ross is one of those people who thinks he's hilarious, but really isn't and is constantly cracking jokes. He's also a meninist, even though Monica tells him all the time how that isn't really a thing. He whines on his Twitter all day about how much his life sucks and how no girl wants a nice guy anymore

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.
