"The Bachelor." I waste two hours of my life each week watching this show.

It started last year when commercials for Jojo's season of "The Bachelorette" came on. I kept telling my boyfriend, Zach, how stupid the show looked and asked how people could actually watch it. He told me if I watched it, I would probably end up being one of those people who liked it.

He was right.

We started watching all these dudes "fall in love" with Jojo. The show itself is ridiculous. The idea that you are going to go on a TV show to compete to fall in love with someone shouldn't make sense to anyone. But I found myself not wanting to look away.

It's so bad, it's good. I wanted to see all the drama and foolishness these people could get themselves into.

And fast forward to now. I told Zach we weren't going to watch the new season of "The Bachelor" when it came on. But here we are six episodes deep into Nick and his mumbling. Oh and Corrine Corn. Ughhh this show.

The only thing that justifies me watching "The Bachelor" is "Rose Buddies."

"Rose Buddies" is a podcast by husband and wife, Griffin and Rachel McElroy. They talk all things #bachelornation.

These two are hilariousssss. They talk about everything that you say to yourself when watching the show. They talk about the girls, about Nick, even Chris Harrison! I find myself looking forward to watching each episode of "The Bachelor" just to listen to "Rose Buddies" the next day.

Rachel always has some keen insight to share. I don't know how she picks up on this stuff, but she is so observant! And Griffin just cracks me up. He makes the best little zings at the girls and at Nick (and Chris). It makes watching the show totally worth it.

So if you're not ashamed to watch "The Bachelor" you absolutely need to listen to "Rose Buddies." You'll thank me later.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
