Hey friends,
Thank you. Thank you for always being there for me.
I know that freshman year would have sucked without you to vent to. Whether it was about family, school or just life in general, you were always ready to listen and give me your best advice.
Thank you for never judging the insane amount of Netflix I watched.
When you got home you usually found me in bed Netflixing. Sometimes you judged me when I never left my bed on Saturday's, but I feel like that was righteous judgment. Often times, you were right there with me binge watching whatever show caught your attention that week.
Thank you for never judging me for making macaroni and cheese when I got stressed out.
I actually think you wanted me to stress just so I would make mac and cheese and we could have a party because there was entirely too much for us to eat by ourselves.
Thank you for letting me laugh at everything, even when it wasn't even that funny.
You always knew at least one person would laugh at your jokes, and I'm glad I could be that person. "Hey look, there's a trash can!" Need I say more?
Thank you for giving me the best nickname; I love being Mikurler.
I can't imagine anyone else coming up with Mikurler. I can't imagine you calling me by my real name. I will forever be Mikurler.
Thank you for giving me a reason to laugh during calculus; we all need something to smile about in math class.
I don't know how I would have survived calculus without our group text. I probably would have gotten less weird looks without it, but it was so worth it. Surah and I had to meet up in the library to discuss and laugh about it some more (I know the library is meant for studying, but it is also a great place to laugh and acquire more weird looks.)
Thank you for being my live in best friends.
This actually could have been a problem considering we never went and did anything because we all lived together. I think it worked out for the best; we really needed each other this past year. I'm glad we had each other through the laughs and the cries.
I can't imagine doing my freshman year at BYU without y'all by my side. We have all gone our separate ways for now, but I can't wait for the day we are all reunited.
Much love,
Mikurler
