So...I saw Rogue One, and I need to talk about it.

Yes, I want to talk about the whole thing, but I know that some of you out there might not have seen it already so I'm going to be giving a spoiler free review for this week and then dive into the entire plot of the movie next week. So, without further ado, here is part one of my review for the latest Star Warsstory, Rogue One.

So for those that don't know, Rogue One is the story of how the Rebels get the plans to the Death Star, basically setting up Star Wars IV: A New Hope. Now, I went in with low expectations, because I first thought that the main purpose of making this movie was to mainly fill in the gap as to how the Rebels get the Death Star plans to Leia, and how the original story of Star Wars begins, and that is true, but I was amazed by how much love and thought was put into this film and showed that these chain of events on screen was a key part in the Star Wars series.

As the story progresses, you get to see the characters reveal more and more details about, for example, the small weak point that Luke takes out later on, or how the Rebels get the plans, you sit there in your seat saying to yourself, This lines up. This makes perfect sense! The movie did a fantastic job filling in the gaps of information by giving the audience a captivating plot, but also bringing great characters to the saga portrayed by an amazing cast.

I find that this is the most diverse cast not only in a Star Wars film, but in a big Hollywood movie that audiences haven't seen in a long time. There are Chinese, African-American, and Mexican actors, for example, playing big roles. I was so happy to see this. I was like, Yes! This shows that there is a lot of talent out there! This movie shows that any actor, whether they are black or white, blue or purple, are just as capable of giving an amazing performance as much as anyone else. Everyone in this film put their best foot forward and dedicated themselves to this story and it showed.

All of the original themes from the main Star Wars story, bravery, sacrifice, the fight between good and evil, all came out in Rogue One and fits in perfectly in the saga. I can't think of anything bad to say about this film. From the cast, characters, its themes and story, Rogue One is a must see for any Star Wars fan or movie goer. I even dare say that this movie perfectly summarizes why Star Wars is an important series and encompasses the whole message of the saga.

If you liked this article and want to hear more about my personal opinion on this film, go see it and come back next week for my spoiler-ridden review of Rogue One. Until then, may the Force be with you.

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

1. If you thought that you knew how to study, you're wrong.

All of your classes aren't taught every day, so professors aren't on your case constantly about reading and memorizing material. Once you get back that "questionable" first exam grade, you'll kick it into high gear and figure out what works for you

Girl With Bleached Hair

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
