The Rockspace WIFI extender setup and login process is simple. Some novice users can make mistakes and face issues. They can face problems like Re.rockspace.local not working. My WIFI signal range is weak. Or the extender is offline. Therefore, I am getting dropped internet connection again and again. Don't worry! Here we are going to discuss a simple method to set up your Rockspace Extender. You have to use only a computer and a web browser. The computer requires association with the router's network to access the Re.rockspace.local login page. Connect your range extender directly to the computer using an Ethernet cable.

Follow Rockspace WIFI Extender setup process

  1. Place the range extender beside the router and then apply power to it using an electric power outlet.
  2. Communicate the range extender using an Ethernet cable to your computer device.
  3. The computer must be getting a proper internet connection from the router. Only then can you access range extenders.
  4. In your computer, open Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or any other web browser of your choice.
  5. Into the address bar of the web browser, type Re.rockspace.local. Or 192.168.0.254 to access the login page.
  6. The login and setup page of your Rockspace extender will appear on the screen with the two blank tabs.
  7. In these two blank tabs, enter the default username and password of your range extender.
  8. Use the paraphrase ADMIN to clear the default login username and password field. Click Login.
  9. Now you are at the Basic home page or the user's administrative page of your Rockspace repeater.
  10. You can now access all other settings of your device. You can also configure the username and password information.

How do I configure my Rockspace Extender using the RS WIFI app?

Do you have any issue accessing Re.rockspace.local web address through a browser? You have another best option: the Rockspace RS WIFI app. You can install the RS WIFI app on your mobile device. Either it is Android or iOS. Install the app from the app store or the play store of your device. Type the Rockspace RS WIFI app into the search bar of the app store and get the app. RS WIFI app does not require any cable connection or computer device to access the web administration page of your extender. You can use this RS WIFI app using the following two methods.

Method one: -

  • Download the RS WIFI app by scanning the QR code from the Google play store or the Apple app store.
  • Enable the Rockspace RS WIFI app and find the range extender from the available device list.
  • Click the range extender. And now you can connect and manage easily.

Method Two: -

Option one: -

If the WIFI network name of your range extender is different from the WIFI router, for example, My Rockspace_Extender on the router or my range extender _EXT. On the range extender, please connect to the WIFI network of your range extender (Myrange_extender_EXT) and then try to login using http://Re.rockspace.local.

Option Two: -

When both the WIFI network names are the same on the router and the repeater, you can access the administrative page of your Rockspace Extender using an Ethernet connection or the LAN IP address of your range extender.

Install the Rockspace WIFI extender using the RS WIFI app

  1. Plug your range extender into the socket near the router. And then reset if you have configured it before.
  2. Connect your mobile phone or tablet to the WIFI network of the range extender. The default WIFI name of your Rockspace extender is in the label of the extender.
  3. When you forget your network name, switch your phone to the other network during the whole configuration process.
  4. Open the RS WIFI app, and click on your range extender to log in. You can either create a new username and password or use what you configured previously.
  5. After that, your Rockspace wifi Extender will start scanning the wireless signals automatically. Select the WIFI name of your WIFI router, either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, and put in the password.
  6. You must know the correct WIFI name and password before logging in to your range extender's web-based interface page.
  7. If your WIFI Extender only has a 2.4 GHz network, then skip the 5 GHz configuration. Now, you need to configure the extended network.
  8. You can even click on the network name to edit it, but the password for your extended network will remain the same as the Host Network. Now, click next.
  9. Check the configurations for your Host Network settings and Extended Network settings. After that, click finish, and the extender will apply your entire settings.
  10. The next page will show you the Wi-Fi names and passwords as your main router and the Rockspace range extender. You have to relocate your network and connect it again.

Now, your Rockspace WIFI extender setup will reboot. After that, the new settings will apply. Follow the on-screen instructions to relocate your range extender and connect to the new WIFI network.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
