Seen the fight? Come check out a game!

Rockland Boulders

As some of you have seen, the Rockland Boulders hosted the New Jersey Jackals and the game resulted in a fight within the 10th inning. (If you haven't seen, here it is)

The Rockland Boulders fight is being seen all around the internet for this negative act, but instead should be shown for their positivity and fun throughout their games. This video also displays a nice view of how gorgeous and new this stadium is! As an employee of the Rockland Boulders, I could not possibly love my job any more than I already do. The employees, interns, fans, and all the pups each Sunday, are some of the most incredible people (and dogs of course) I've ever met.

Although I only sell 50/50 raffles, all the employees make me seem like a team player and are some of the nicest and funniest people I've met. I've been gracious to have a close bond with many of my co-workers and superiors. The amount of enjoyment going to the games just to work is great, so I could only imagine how much fun being a fan must be. Between auctions for free Rita's, Pizza, Possibility of winning a Mercedes OR 50/50, and some entertaining half inning challenges what isn't there to enjoy at each game?

Almost all games either offer a themed night, dollar beers, or a giveaway of some sort of item (once they gave out replica jerseys!). So Instead of looking at this fight as a crazy fight, it should draw you to the stadium to have a night full of family fun!

Of course, watching a fight in baseball is pretty crazy, especially since it got so severe the Jackals team member had to be removed from the game, but hey if you're looking for an intense game, we play the Jackals at home on August 19th again! With tickets as cheap as 15 dollars with tax, Why not take the family out to go see some good ole' baseball? Go Boulders!

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a part of any organization undoubtedly comes with the pitfalls of being grouped into negative stereotypes, and sororities are certainly no exception. Here are the top few things, that I find at least, are some of the most irritating misconceptions that find their way into numerous conversations...

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

There are plenty of obstacles that come when taking care of kids, but it's a very rewarding experience.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…
