Look Under the Rock! There's Money There!

Got twenty-two cents in your bank account? Need a kickstart?

Guess what? This is the article for you! Did you know there's money everywhere? It can literally fall out of the sky? Really? No... not really. If you believe it or not, money is everywhere, though. You just need to know where to look, or invent the direction that others need to look towards. It's quite simple, really!

It may seem like a daunting task, but let me narrow it down a bit:

You are a college student. You have an espresso machine in your room and know that you have better coffee than anyone in the building. Then FOOSH! A snowstorm traps everyone in the building. Knowing that you have a lot of espresso and there's a spot to bring your machine, you bring it down to the lounge and start selling coffee drinks. By the end of the day, you make a solid one hundred after figuring out the amount of money for resupply.

Like that excerpt? I can't say much, but that happened... in certain ways. I created a direction and followed it. Now more people have the urge to follow that direction, or make another path off of it. That's the start of a business state of mind.

Yeah, really. If you are stuck for cash, remember that there is always a way to make money as a college student. Now, as summer vacation starts, this is more important than ever. You all must have a hobby, right? Of course you do! You can monetize that hobby! I mean, part-time jobs are much better at generating income in any way, but if you are as lazy as me, you want to monetize as many things as possible.

Now, this is what you need to do:

1. Find out what hobby is easy to get passive income.

Passive income is the best income. It basically comes in while you aren't paying attention.

2. Figure out how to do limited marketing with that idea. This means get the word out.

Limited marketing is coined as a free-type of marketing (flyers, Twitter, etc)

3. Profit.

That's literally all you have to do. The other thing you can do is find a problem you have and attempt to solve it. A great example would be the coffee story: I knew that everyone needs caffeine and I provided a solution.

This is a bare-bones article. I hope it helps on your quest!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
