Before buying any robot vacuum, there are certainly important factors you need to put into consideration. This will help you settle for the best robot vacuum. Among the factors, you need to consider include the following.

1. Important features

Robot vacuums come in different shape, design, and size. The features and functionality of a robotic vacuum allow you to pick the one that will serve your carpet effectively. Features to pay attention are:

Robot vacuum design

They normally feature durable plastic that covers it outside. This protects delicate sensors and electronics housed inside it from damage. Many models come in circular designs although there are some like Neato Botvac usually features a unique D-shape which enhances corner cleaning.

Sensors and navigation

Most of the robot vacuums make good use of sensors that are bumper mounted to allow them to detect effects with furniture, walls, and objects that block its path. They also have cliff sensors on the bottom which help them detect edges(flooring transitions, stairs among others)

Cleaning brushes

Know that your robotic vacuums must have spinning brushes that collect and spins debris. Other models feature ancillary spinning brushes that have longer bristles.

Battery Life

The size of the area you intend to clean using a robot vacuum will determine the amount of time your battery will last.

Note that, lower end budget type models of robot vacuum usually run for sixty minutes.Mid- range type models normally operate for about 60 to 80 minutes. Top line models, on the other hand, run for around 90 minutes or even more before needing a recharge.

Suction Power

Standard models usually deliver between 2.9 PSI (20 kPA) and 3.6 PSI (24 kPA) of suction power. Remember most of them fail to deliver lower levels meant for light maintenance cleaning. This might make it hard for them to clean heavier and larger debris.

It is advisable to purchase the one with turbo modes that provide intense and quick cleaning power. You should also go for the one with eco modes to save more power for your battery. Also, purchase the ones with quiet modes to maintain quietness when dealing with other important matters such as television time, working or studying.

2. User interface and ease of operation

The easiness of operating your robot vacuum will always rely on the specific model that you purchase. This will be in line with its functionalities, capabilities, and features.

Note that, robot vacuum begins out connected to a charging station that always requires plugging into an outlet.

Making it begin cleaning may involve utilizing a touchscreen or button on top of the gadget, logging into an app of a smartphone and connecting via wifi of your home.

From there, the robot vacuum will use its several sensors and functionalities to navigate around your house and facilitate effective cleaning of your carpet. Others even create area maps they have already clean for the user to view.

3. Maintenance of a robot vacuum

Any maintenance for your device will heavily rely on the type of model you will choose and its specific features and functionalities. Note that, certain models feature the capacity to only mop hard floors. This consequently implies that it will need several maintenances than the one that only focuses on vacuums debris.

It's always important to keep away things that can interfere with spin brushes of robotic vacuums while cleaning. Make sure the battery is often fully charged before running the device.

4. Price of robot vacuum and your budget

This is a very important factor that needs to be put into consideration before buying any robotic vacuum. As earlier mentioned, these gadgets come with different shape, design, size, and features. Their prices are also different. Always ensure you purchase a gadget depending on your preferences and needs. Of course, others have smart features than others and also others are more expensive but always be guided by the price that suits your needs and budget.

5. Pets and flooring types

This one will always depend on the type of model that you pick. You are always encouraged to purchase a robotic vacuum that suits the surface of your house. If you purpose to get the one that is able to get one type i.e hard flooring/carpeting, the choice always lies with the user. Nonetheless, if you want the one that clean hard floor and also carpeting, you will often go for the one that transition automatically between the two. If pets in your house make the surface of your house dirty by shedding much, it is advisable to choose a robotic vacuum model that handles this.

6. Controllability

Many high end and top lines robot vacuum cleaners features wifi connectivity. This allows the user to access many things on the device while he/she is far. This is often made possible via app functionality.

It helps the user to either control his/her vacuum far from their home, receive notifications, schedule cleaning times, if the gadget needs a filter replacement or if its dustbin needs to be emptied. This feature will always be guided by user preferences.

7. Size of the robot vacuum and the size of its dustbin

Size plays an important role in the overall design. For instance, a taller model might find it hard to fit under the furniture plus other tiny spaces.

Dustbin size usually comes when you intend to reduce emptying that normally occurs between cleaning cycles. Larger dustbin size works well compared to smaller ones depending on your debris collection.

It is always important to have the above-mentioned guides when you want to choose the best robot vacuum to clean your carpet or surface of your floor in your home. Always prioritize your goals and preferences. You will never regret.

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
