College is a time of exploration. A time where you find out who you really are and what you want to do with the rest of your life. Things can get tough and you are definitely tested, but it's an experience that you'll cherish forever. While college does consist of some difficult classes, endless hours of studying, and a fair amount of stress, that doesn't mean that there isn't time for some fun, too. Roanoke College is such a beautiful campus and there are so many different things to enjoy while you are a student. Here are 18 things every Roanoke College student should enjoy doing before they get that diploma they worked so hard for.

1. Visit the Mill Mountain Star at night

2. Hike McAfee's Knob to watch the sun rise

3. Go to a group fitness class

4. Get a picture with Rooney

5. Go to the Cascades

6. Eat a burger at Jack Brown's in downtown Roanoke

7. Attend a "pack the house" game

8. Study / meet friends at Mill Mountain Coffee

9. Get a pizza at Lucky's... and try to eat it all

10. Kick the kicking post for good luck

11. Enjoy tendies and mac and cheese day in Commons

12. Paint the rock

13. Attend a bingo night

14. Go to the President's Ball

15. Sneak extra desserts out of Commons

16. Hammock on a sunny day

17. Swipe out in Cavern for snacks

18. Play with the therapy dogs during exam week
