You know summer is over when these things happen:
1. You don't have as much time to binge watch your favorite shows.
I just want to watch Stranger Things season 1 for the entire day, but I can't because I have class, work, chapel, and somehow have to manage to socialize.
2. You can't go to the beach or pool for the entire day.
I mean you could, but you have about five chapters to read for each class. Doing homework on the beach or at the pool is distracting with the scenery, wind, and the sun makes it hard to see.
3. You can't sleep in much anymore.
Waking up at 1 pm on a weekday is not really acceptable during the year when it's not summer.
4. Seasonal summer foods are unavailable or not in season.
Watermelon, my one true love!
5. You have more responsibilities now.
You don't have much time for lazy days when school starts back up again. Summer is more care or worry-free.
6. You don't get to travel as much.
One of the best things about summer is having time to travel.
While it's sad that summer is over, if you love fall like me, just remember that Halloween is almost here.
