As if sixty-one bops to appear on the Billboard Hot 100 list wasn't enough, Robin Rihanna Fenty has been working tirelessly to give her fans everything they want and more. Since starting her career in 2003, Rihanna has been becoming increasingly popular as the years go on. It's safe to say she's come quite a long way since her first hit single "Pon de Replay" appeared on the Hot 100 list in June of 2005.
Since this single was released, she's gone on to release eight studio albums, a line with Puma, a makeup line, a lingerie line, and a long list of musical collaborations with various big names. With such a successful music career, many wonder why she would risk taking a break from music to work on other projects. The truth is, Rihanna is an artist through and through, and her artistry goes way beyond the medium of music.
First, let's take a look at her inclusive cosmetics line that sent the beauty world into a frenzy. Fenty Beauty launched in September of 2017 with a few types of products, including lip gloss, Match Stix, and Killawatt pressed highlighters. Perhaps the most talked about product of her launch was the Pro Filt'r Foundation that comes in a whopping forty shades.

There has never been a makeup line so diverse that includes this many shades, ranging from shade 100 to shade 490. The release of this line started a much-needed conversation about inclusion in the beauty industry and many brands rushed to release their own version of foundations with a wide range of shades. Way to go, RihRih.
As far as fashion lines, Rihanna released her first collaboration with Puma, called FENTY Puma By Rihanna, in 2016. This line included platform sneakers, sweatshirts, and pants, among other things. She has now released three Fenty Puma collections and is set to release more next year. In addition to her Puma line, she released her very own lingerie line this year titled SAVAGE X FENTY. Included in this line are bras, underwear, bodysuits, and kinky accessories. Rihanna closed out September 12th of New York Fashion Week this year with her Fall 2018 collection. She mixed things up by premiering her line on a live stream on FENTY X SAVAGE website.
A number of the models in her show do not fit the typical image for what Fashion Week models normally look like, showing again that Rihanna is an activist for inclusivity in everything she puts her name on. Her continuous support of every type of woman does not go unnoticed. In fact, one of the models in her show, known as Slick Woods, was in Labor as she walked the Fenty runway last week. In an open letter to Rihanna in an interview with Allure Magazine, Woods thanks Rihanna for opening doors for her career and for "making inclusivity cool." Rihanna posted the letter to her Instagram page, @badgalriri, as seen here:
Essentially, Rihanna is taking the world by storm, so get used to it. It's rumored she will be releasing not one, but two new albums in the foreseeable future, an electronic dance album and a reggae album. Soon, we will probably be enrolling our children in Fenty University, driving them to school in our Fenty cars, and ordering our Fenty pre-packaged meals for dinner. If you aren't already on the Rihanna train, it's probably about time to hop aboard.
