Television gurus and Netflix champions, some of your favorite stars from television and movies are uniting for reunions, sequels, and anniversaries. As if we needed one more reason to procrastinate our lives away by watching television and Netflix. Here are just a few to keep an eye out for:
1. The "Friends" Reunion
Unfortunately, it's not an actual episode, but almost all of our favorite New York City 20-something-year-olds will be there for us to honor director James Burrow. David Schwimmer can try to deny that it's a reunion all he wants, but Ross claimed he and Rachel were on a break.
Tune in to NBC on Feb. 21 at 9 p.m.
2. "Fuller House"
D.J. Tanner, Kimmy Gibbler, and the gang will star in a Netflix series called "Fuller House." It will focus on their journey through motherhood. Sadly, the Olsen twins won't be joining the cast; I guess the dude doesn't have it.
Airing on Netflix on Feb. 26 at midnight.
3. "High School Musical"
The "HSM" cast is still in it together. The boys (and girls) Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman are back at East High for the 10 year anniversary of "High School Musical." They will reflect on their days of filming, and there will be a special message from Zac Efron. I don't know about you, but I'm still kind of upset that high school wasn't that great.
Tune in to Disney Channel on Feb. 20 at 8 p.m.
4. "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"
Rumors having been circling that none other than Will Smith, the Fresh Prince himself, will direct a revival of the show. Some sources doubt whether or not 19 years is too long for that to be successful. As for me, "In West Philadelphia born and raised; on the playground is where I spent most of my days..."
Bring it on. You know you sang the song too.
Coming in 2017?
Netflix and television lovers everywhere rejoice. Let us unite our screens in honor of the classics. Go ahead and binge watch, I give you permission.
