Bath and Body Works

Having worked at Bath and Body Works for about a year and a half now I'd like to think that I know my stuff about what scents are good and what smells like last weeks take out. A little while back BBW released their summer collection that is supposed to evoke your favorite summer memories and have you smelling good all summer long (something that's important when it comes to this sweat-inducing heat wave we're going through) and while I have not bought all these products I do spend plenty of time with them and I am excited to review these for you and help you narrow down which scent is for you!

Live Fresh: Seaside Breeze

This scent is going to appeal to anyone who enjoys a nice fresh scent and something not to overpowering.

  • Top Notes: Coconut Water, Fresh Air, Clementine Zest, Juicy Nectarine
  • Mid Notes: Beach Blossoms, Vanilla Orchid, Sugarcane
  • Dry Notes: Sunkissed Musk, Soft White Sands, Sheer Amber

Beach Nights: Summer Marshmallow

This scent is one of my favorites, anyone who is a fan of sweet scents will love this and with the addition of Coconut Orchid and Sea Salt Breeze this is perfect for fall or summer.

  • Top Notes: Toasted Marshmallow, Sea Salt Breeze
  • Mid Notes: S'mores Accord, Ginger Flower, Coconut Orchid
  • Dry Notes: Creamy Vanilla, Beach Driftwood, Soft Musk

Get Happy: White Peach Sangria

One of the more popular scents from this line, White Peach Sangria is for all tose fruit fanatics, with the help of just a touch of sugar, sandalwood and amber this scent doesn't become too fruity and is a nice balance.

  • Top Notes: White Peach Nectar, Fresh Tangerine
  • Mid Notes: Sparkling Prosecco, Sweet Hibiscus, Pear Blossom
  • Dry Notes: Golden Sugar, Sandalwood, White Amber

Sweet Escape: Strawberry Picnic

Another fruity flavor this time a lot more sweet, while not one of my personal favorites this scent appeals to a younger audience.

  • Mid Notes: Juicy Melon, Pink Wildflowers
  • Dry Notes: Dewy Musk, Sun-kissed Oak, White Amber

Sunshine Days: Bright Sunflowers

This is the most subtle of the scents, a very forgiving mix of pretty much everything, if your unsure of what kind of scents you like definitley check this one out!

  • Top Notes: Wild Sunflowers, Golden Delicious Apple, Sweet Summer Berries
  • Mid Notes: Orange Blossom, Wet Violet, Water Lotus
  • Dry Notes: Vanilla Flower, White Woods, Sun Musk

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
